Deepangshu Kundu
Research Assistant
Deepanshu Kundu is a doctoral candidate at TISS Mumbai. His research interests include decentralisation, grassroots governance, participation, development interventions and empowerment. His MPhil research focused on the experiences of women in SHGs in Raidih, Jharkhand. He has been associated with the Paralekha project from March, 2020. Which endeavour seeks to mobilize SHGs to fill the gaps left in primary education after the COVID induced school closures.
Prasenjit Ray
Field coordinator
Prasenjit has been associated with Liver Foundation, West Bengal from 2007 onwards. He has proved himself with his dedication and hard work and turned into a responsible member of the organisation. Prasenjit has a diverse experience at the field level and is now the lead monitoring person in Pora Lekha, Birbhum.
A group of enthusiastic young local volunteers are also extending their support in Para Lekha programme of Birbhum district.
Saurabhi Dey
Project Coordinator
Saurabhi joined Sarva Shiksha Mission as quality manager. She has been involved in developing training modules for teachers, panchayat and district level functionaries and teaching learning materials for children. After joining Vikramshila Education Resource Society in 2008, she has worked as the academic support person for the development of academic component of the organization and has given technical assistance in planning the curriculum, instructional modules and teacher training modules in some model Madrasas of the state. Saurabhi is an innovative and dynamic educational professional with 16 years of experience in the field of education.
Soma Das
Programme Manager
Soma is working in the development sector on education for last18 years, when she started her journey as state quality manager in Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan. She also worked in Vikramshila Education Resource Society as project coordinator and central content developer. She worked as UNICEF consultant on quality and teacher education in Kolkata for supporting School Education Department. She had an exposure of training from various national and international organizations like TISS, Eklavya, Jodogyan, AIR.
